If your air conditioning system is not blowing cold air then this could indicate that you need an air conditioning re-gas. Over time air conditioning systems can lose their gas typically 10% per year, especially when it is not used regularly. You may find that as the air conditioning becomes less efficient the car’s interior takes longer to cool down in hot weather and during the winter it will take much longer to defrost the windows.

Remove the old refrigerant gas from your air conditioning system - Replace with new refrigerant to ensure the optimum performance of the system.

• Remove old gas
• Vacuum test to check for leaks
• Refill gas to manufacturers specifications

It is also essential to sanitise the air conditioning vents and ducts to prevent the build up of bacteria within the system which could lead to a musty spell within the vehicle.

Air Condition Leak Detection Service

To check for leaks in your air conditioning system, we fill the system with Nitrogen (This is harmless to the system and environment) to see where the leak may be coming from. If we detect a leak, we will then advise you and provide a quotation to repair.

We recommend that you get your air con serviced every two years to ensure that it is in good working order.
